If the physics-based, real-time tactical, sidescrolling gameplay of Cortex Command is up your alley, then you should definitely not miss out on fellow indie dev VAP Games’ Intrusion 2! It features the best use of physics in Flash that I’ve ever seen, and was made by a sole developer in the middle of Russia (with help from a talented musician as well):

The trailer speaks for itself; there’s also a demo and you can buy the DONE game today (what a concept!). I appreciate when I can see quality and passion poured into a project, so I am eager to spread the word about this gem. Now go check it out!

Bought it in a bundle a few weeks ago. It’s a very nice game featuring impressive boss battles and intelligent gameplay mechanics. (I love the wolf !). It does have some minor issues and the graphics need some more polishing but in the overal, it was a good experience and i like to play it from time to time.

Downloading the demo now. That looks really spectacular, love the set pieces with giant robots ripping buildings apart!

    > Makes game in Flash
    > Windows ONLY

    WTF??????

    That was a no-brainer, bought!

Now if only YOU could put some physics like this into Cortex Command. I’d like to mod some of these bosses in too.

I’m sure that it’s going to be on the next Humble Bundle, seeing as it is listed as one of the game’s partners. There would be no reason to be a partner other than to sell the game in a bundle.

This was part of the IndieFort Bundle at Gamer’s Gate some time ago.

Skeletal animation, riding wolves, really _REALLY_ weird water, and some epic-y shit going on. <3

Quit on the snow-slalom level, got way too repetitive and kept going through the same 5-minute sequence inbetween checkpoints. The controls were way too sluggish to avoid all the damage coming at me, so pretty much the whole sled ride I had to depend on getting to checkpoints and resuming them with full health.

Awesome game. Instant buy and I haven’t regretted it once in my 1 hour of playing it. ^^

Looks awesome! Smooth game play and fast paced. Many effects, but not too much… like it. Nice Game Play Video.

So how much did you get paid to sponsor this?

When are you gonna start helping with YOUR game? I understand it is hard, and it isn’t making you 5 billion dollars, or anything, but REALLY? Advertising another game? UPDATE Cortex, first.

Really enjoyed the passive aggressive putdowns at your fans and buyers during the Gamespot interview. You sound like a really nice fella.
